So far, 124 tonnes has been collected by the council at the pop-up recycling sites.
Week one still holds the Skip It record, with more than 64 tonnes collected in the first five days.
As autumn is well and truly upon us, people are also encouraged to sweep up leaves from outside their house and bring them along to Skip It to get rid of them.
